The last stretch

Well it's been really quiet on this blog for the last month or so. Things have been pretty hectic the last couple of weeks here, as everyone in the studio scrambles to prepare for the hand-in.

Cleanup and colouring went by really quickly and we've just finished compositing (more of which you can see over at Sarah's blog http://love-in-the-time-of-metropolis.blogspot.com/ ). The film is now in the final render stage with the music and sound almost complete.

For now the main focus is to get the Making-off finish
ed and to be ready for the Degree Show. We'll be putting the finished movie up here when it's finished and to help you know how the final film might look, here's an early screenshot.

Stuff from the Vault and an update on Production

Hey Everybody

Joe here to post a much needed blog post with an update on how the production is going.

For the last three months we've been animating and with only half a month left to go on our schedule, we're a good 3/4 of the way there. Brian has been animating like crazy and has finished the majority of the Scarecrow's scenes, while Amy and I have been busy with the Crows. Sarah
has been helping us out with colouring as well as compositing and we have few other people helping us in cleanup.

I thought I'd put up a few images of our development as well as some title images by Brian's friend Dale who is doing graphics for us.

Character Sheet

Final Colours

These images were originally drawn over the summer of last semester, and were an attempt to practice at the newer character model for the Scarecrow as well as practice different poses and hand gestures.

Final colur test

As for the Crow pictures, these were part of the final designs for the characters, of course there were a few tweaks to their design here and there but they largely remained unchanged.

Well the most common answer is america south america. Infact it isnt, it is set in Angus Scotland just a few miles behind where i live. So these pictures shows the farm layout and the environment that the film is set. Obviously this farm is moe upto date but i like to keep it old and traditional farm style.
